Her expertise allows her to fit most patients with contacts, even finding success with difficult cases or those patients who have experienced previous failures. In addition, she actively screens candidates for refractive surgery. Dr. Barkan remains current in the latest research and is an active participant in her professional organizations.

A native Ohioan, Dr. Barkan and her husband Scott raise their four children in Northeast Ohio.
